  • Work that the organization or tenant could reasonably do themselves, except chemical treatment
  • Services that do not address a specific infestation
  • Ongoing services without a clear end date
  • Activities that are the landlord's responsibility under the residential tenancy law

How to apply

  • Step 1: Choose the appropriate stream
    • Select the main stream or the homelessness support stream.
  • Step 2: Complete the application package
    • Fill out the required application form.
    • Attach the completed MDA order form, if applicable.
  • Step 3: Send the application
    • Submit in person, by mail, or by email.
    • Email applications to pestcontrolgrant@gov.mb.ca when possible.
    • Mail applications to the Manitoba Housing Programs office in Winnipeg.
  • Step 4: Wait for review and approval
    • The program reviews the application and issues an approval letter if successful.
  • Step 5: Submit receipts for reimbursement
    • Send receipts and required documents by the date stated in the approval letter.
