Latest change: The Tuition Fee Deferrals and contact pages now show a simplified version that removes the June 15, 2026 office-closure notice and several deferral instructions.
Tuition fee deferral guidance updated
The Tuition Fee Deferrals page now presents updated guidance, including the removal of the StudentAid BC 2026/2027 opening notice for June 23, 2026 and the August 1, 2026 study-period condition. It also adds instructions for cases where funding is split into two disbursements, including a 50% payment step and an extension request, plus a clearer statement that BCIT does not collect StudentAid BC funds directly and students must pay BCIT after receiving funding. The Contact Student Financial Aid & Awards page no longer shows the partial service closure notice for Monday, June 15, 2026, while the email, phone, and visit details remain available.
