Eligible expenses
- Artist and project team compensation
- Directly related equipment, up to $2,500
- Consumable supplies such as ink, paint, or paper
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Operating expenses and ongoing expenses
- Project phases that begin before the application deadline
- Project deficits, budget deficits, or contingency funds
- Capital expenses, including major property or equipment purchases
- Feasibility studies, start-up costs, seed money, and fundraising activities

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first reviewed for eligibility.
- Eligible applications are assessed by independent peer panels.
- The panel determines funding levels and any conditions on payment.
- Applicants are notified of results in writing by email.
- Final results are stated as final.

- Applications are accepted through the BC Arts Council Grant Management System.
- New applicants must register and create a profile before applying.
- Registration requests may take up to four business days to process.
- Results are expected in early February 2026.
