This program is supported by a fund of up to $20 million to support agricultural production and related economic activity in the Peace Region. Eligible activities include agricultural events and educational initiatives, farming infrastructure investments, and research and demonstration initiatives.
Activities funded
- Educational events that promote agriculture within the Peace Region.
- Capital investment projects supporting agriculture industry infrastructure.
- Research studies testing new agricultural products, methods, or practices.
- Demonstration initiatives assessing agricultural practice viability.
