Overview

This program is supported by a fund of up to $20 million to support agricultural production and related economic activity in the Peace Region. Eligible activities include agricultural events and educational initiatives, farming infrastructure investments, and research and demonstration initiatives.

Activities funded

  • Educational events that promote agriculture within the Peace Region.
  • Capital investment projects supporting agriculture industry infrastructure.
  • Research studies testing new agricultural products, methods, or practices.
  • Demonstration initiatives assessing agricultural practice viability.

Build grain storage and cleaning infrastructure to improve local crop value

  • Applications are evaluated on a quarterly basis.
  • For festivals and other events, applications must be submitted at least six weeks before the activity.
