BC Hydro EV charger rebates updated
BC Hydro updated the charger top-up page with new, more explicit rebate amounts for Indigenous Peoples, including single-family home support of up to $400 top-up, 50% base rebate up to $350, and 75% combined up to $750, plus apartment and condo building support of up to $2,500 top-up, 50% base rebate up to $2,000, and 75% combined up to $4,500. The page also now shows the workplace Indigenous top-up as up to $1,000 of eligible costs with a 50% base rebate up to $2,000 and 75% combined funding up to $4,500, while the multi-unit residential content continues to show the $137,000 program maximum and the $14,000 standalone rebate cap. In addition, the standalone apartment/condo timing note remains in place for July 15, 2026, and the eligible charger list now excludes leased chargers.
