- Apply for the backwater valve permit with your local municipality before installation.
- Step 2: Complete the installation and inspection

- Step 3: Submit the rebate application
- Complete the rebate form and gather the required supporting documents.
- Send the application by email, scan and email, or mail it to Peel Region.
- Step 4: Wait for processing
- Your application will be reviewed and processed after receipt.
