BACCF Annual Granting Program

• The applicant must be registered as a Canadian charitable organization or otherwise qualified under Section 110 of the Income Tax Act.
• The project should address community needs in areas such as arts, culture, recreation, education, environment, health, or social services.

Who is eligible?

• Canadian charitable organizations
• Organizations qualified under Section 110 of the Income Tax Act

Who is not eligible

• Organizations that are not registered Canadian charitable organizations and not otherwise qualified under Section 110 of the Income Tax Act

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Preference for projects addressing growing community needs (artistic, cultural, recreational, educational, environmental, health, and social service areas).

• Complete the application for the program.

• Send the application electronically to the program contact (as instructed).

• Guiding principles include building community assets, philanthropy, and community capacity.
• The program emphasizes responsive, accountable processes.
• The program seeks to reflect diversity and foster renewal.
• The program encourages community dialogue and partnerships.
