A
Aubrey & Marla Dan Foundation Nurture Grant
Overview
The Aubrey & Marla Dan Foundation Nurture Grant is a one-year, invitation-only grant stream for Canadian registered charities located in Ontario. It supports direct programming connected to the foundation's focus on youth mental health and youth homelessness, including prevention, early intervention and wraparound care. The stream is intended to start a funding relationship with AMDF and support personalized programs that can show measurable impact. Nurture Grants provide $25,000 to $50,000 for one year and may cover direct program costs plus up to 20% administration. AMDF states that funding for 2025 and 2026 is closed and that it is not accepting or responding to unsolicited requests, so organizations should treat the program as closed unless they receive an invitation from the foundation.

How to apply
Confirm that the organization is a Canadian registered charity located in Ontario and that it has no active agreement with AMDF. Review the Nurture Grant criteria and make sure the proposed work fits AMDF's youth mental health or youth homelessness focus. Prepare evidence that the program can measure impact and support annual reporting. Do not send an unsolicited application: AMDF says the program is invitation only, funding for 2025 and 2026 is closed, and unsolicited requests are not accepted or answered. Submit application materials only if AMDF invites the organization to apply.
Additional information
- Funding is invitation only and AMDF says funding for 2025 and 2026 is now closed. The foundation does not accept or respond to unsolicited funding requests. Nurture Grant funding is one-year support of $25,000 to $50,000 for Canadian registered charities located in Ontario, and eligible recipients may reapply up to two times. The stream supports direct program costs and up to 20% administration. If a resubmitted proposal is declined, or if the charity is not invited to apply for the Inspire Grant, the charity may reapply for a Nurture Grant after one year. AMDF does not fund religious or political organizations and does not provide sponsorships.
