How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare application materials
    • Write the Expression of Interest.
    • Prepare the Design Proposal images.
    • Update the CV.
    • Compile work samples and references.
  • Step 2: Format the submission
    • Combine all materials into a single PDF.
  • Step 3: Submit by email
    • Email the PDF to ghamilton@rmg.on.ca.
    • Submit before 11:59pm EST on April 30, 2026.

Processing and Agreement

  • Successful applicants are contacted by mid-May.
  • A contract is signed before the project moves forward.
  • Site visits may be conducted as needed.
  • Regular studio visits are held during production.
  • The work is installed onsite by RMG staff in January 2027.

  • Selected applicant will sign a contract with the gallery.
  • Regular studio visits may be virtual.
  • The artwork will be returned to the artist after the exhibition period.
