- Board or staff training and development

Ineligible Costs and Activities
- General operating expenses, deficits, loan repayments, contingency, and start-up costs
- Capital expenses and equipment purchases over $2,500
- Creation, production, presentation, outreach, marketing, touring, and travel for work
- Feasibility studies, fundraising, contests, and competitions
- Projects in creative industries or commercial sectors

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first reviewed for eligibility by the BC Arts Council.
- Eligible applications are assessed by an independent peer panel.
- The panel scores and ranks applications, and funding is awarded based on that ranking.
- Results are sent by email about 16 weeks after the closing date.
- Final reports are required after project completion.

- Applications are submitted through the BC Arts Council’s online Grant Management System.
- Only one application per organization or collective is accepted per intake.
- Notification of results is generally sent about 16 weeks after the closing date.
