How to apply

  • Step 1: Create or access your Grants Portal account
    • Returning applicants sign in with existing credentials.
    • First-time applicants register and verify their account by email.
  • Step 2: Complete the application form
    • Enter organization contact details and requested funding amount.
    • Answer all required questions in each section.
  • Step 3: Upload supporting documents
    • Submit the required financial documents and governance documents.
    • Upload additional documents if applicable to your organization type.
  • Step 4: Review and sign the terms
    • Have two authorized signing officers sign the terms and conditions.
  • Step 5: Submit online
    • Submit the completed application through the City’s Grants Portal before the deadline.
    • Wait for the confirmation email after submission.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by City staff for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility.
  • Applications are assessed by the Peer Assessment Committee and recommended for funding.
  • Funding decisions are reviewed and approved by Council.
  • Successful applicants must sign the funding agreement before payment.
  • Applicants receive a written notice of the decision.
