Who is eligible?

  • Canadian small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Eligible expenses

  • Economy airfare
  • Accommodations

Selection criteria

  • Priority selection will be given to Canadian companies in sectors involving the industrial application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT).
  • Preference will be given to SME applicants that employ a minimum of 20 or more employees and have $2 million or more in revenue.
  • Preference will be given to SME applicants that have commercialized their product in the domestic market.

How to apply

  • Register by clicking the register button at the bottom of the page by July 26, 2019.
  • Respond to any contact from an NRC IRAP representative for further information and preliminary eligibility screening.
  • Complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form provided by the NRC IRAP International Office.
  • Submit the EOI form by August 2, 2019.

Processing and Agreement

  • After registration, applicants may be contacted by an NRC IRAP representative for further information and preliminary eligibility screening.
  • After the initial registration screening, the NRC IRAP International Office will provide an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to potentially eligible applicants.
  • Notification of results is scheduled for August 12, 2019.
