How to apply

  • Submit the application documents by email as a single PDF to Mme Sonia Gobeil at sgobeil@arsacs.com by 22 May 2026.
  • Submit the application in the following order: application form; progress report for renewal projects, if applicable; research plan; figures and tables; bibliography; budget requested and justification; CV; supporting letters.
  • Documents may be submitted in French or English.

Processing and Agreement

  • The Scientific Advisory Committee evaluates each application.
  • External peer reviewers may be consulted and provide assessments to the committee.
  • Applications are evaluated in June-July 2026, and projects are announced in August 2026.
  • If selected, the principal investigator or a delegate may be invited to present project progress at the International ARSACS Symposium.
  • At the end of the project, the principal investigator must provide a scientific progress report and a short summary for publication on the Foundation website.

Additional information

  • The funding is jointly supported by the Richardson Research Fund.
  • Projects can be renewed year to year if progress is demonstrated.
  • Applicants may be invited to present project progress at the International ARSACS Symposium.
  • Applications may be submitted in French or English.
