Documents Needed

  • A properly completed application including child’s information, sport information and funding amount request (no greater than $400).
  • The most recent CCTB – Canada Child Tax Benefit Summary (issued every July), or your most recent government assistant statements or Proof of Assistance such as Ontario Works or ODSP.
  • Your name, address, and your child(ren) name(s) must be displayed on the statement.
  • If you have moved since filing your taxes and your address is not current on your statement, provide proof of your new local address, such as updated Drivers License or a recent third-party bill showing your name and address together.
  • If your family income is over the Ontario Low-Income Threshold, provide additional supporting documentation to show extenuating circumstances.

  • Any program that is not an organized sport or sport activity.
  • Past debt owed to organizations for non-payment or reimbursements.

How to apply

  • Apply online.
  • Download and print a copy of the application from the website or pick one up from the office.
  • Upload your financial information directly onto the online application or email the office/drop off a copy within 7 business days of filing your application forms.

Processing and Agreement

  • Once submitted with all the correct information and documents, the Applications committee will review the application.
  • The sport organization is contacted to verify that the child is registered in the program before the payment is sent directly to them.
  • When approval is awarded, the funds are made payable directly to the sports organization.
  • A letter or email is sent to the applicant with the final status of the application.
  • The decisions made by the Directors of the Arnold Anderson Sport Fund are discretionary and final, and no appeal exists from any decision to grant or deny the application.
