How to apply
Step 1: Gather supporting documents and information.- Ensure your application package includes: the completed application form, the completed attestation (part 4 of the application form), the completed budget detail template, and a document confirming your CRA business/registration number or proof of provincial incorporation/registration (including your organization’s address).- Verify that all required documents are included, as only complete application packages are considered.Step 2: Choose a submission method.- Decide whether you will apply online (GCOS), by email, or by mail.Step 3: Apply online using GCOS.- Create a GCOS account (account creation may take up to 10 business days).- Read the applicant guide to complete the application form.- Complete the budget detail template (EMP5570).Step 4: Apply by email.- Read the applicant guide to complete the application form.- Complete the application for funding (EMP5523) and the budget detail template (EMP5570) on your computer or by hand.- Print, sign, and scan the appropriate sections of the application for funding.- Email the complete application package to EDSC.DGOP.PPDSEF.AF-FE.SDPPCF.POB.ESDC@servicecanada.gc.ca.- If you are unable to scan the signature pages, mail them.Step 5: Apply by mail.- Read the applicant guide to complete the application form.- Complete the application for funding (EMP5523) and the budget detail template (EMP5570).- Print and sign the appropriate sections of the application for funding.- Mail the complete application package to: Social Development Partnerships Program – Children and Families – Financial Empowerment, Coordination Unit mailstop 402, National Grants & Contributions Delivery Centre (ESDC), 140 Promenade du Portage Phase IV 4th Floor, Gatineau QC K1A 0J9.
