- Legal, accounting, insurance, and membership fees
- Construction, renovations, repairs, and equipment purchases such as computers or office equipment
- Alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, entertainment, and wellness expenses
- Wages and salaries of existing staff
- Political or faith-based activities, past activities, and retroactive costs
