Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Community organizations serving African Nova Scotia or African descent communities.

Who is not eligible

  • Organizations that do not serve or involve the targeted communities.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • The program does not cover activities unrelated to racial equality or community engagement.
  • Expenses for activities outside the scope of anti-Black racism initiatives are ineligible.
  • Funding cannot be used for administrative costs unrelated to the project.
  • Projects that do not address at least one identified form of anti-Black racism are not eligible.
