Overview

This funding program supports dermatology research through four categories, with support of up to $100,000. It funds mature innovation projects, resident-led pilot studies, pediatric atopic dermatitis proposals, and skin of color research initiatives.

Activities funded

  • Well-developed dermatology research projects submitted for peer review (Innovation category).
  • Resident-initiated dermatological research projects (Pilot category).
  • Research proposals addressing pediatric atopic dermatitis, including those serving underserved communities in Canada.
  • Research projects focused on skin of color.

Eligibility

  • For the Pilot category, applicants must be residents enrolled in an accredited Canadian dermatology residency program.
  • For the Pediatric Atopic Dermatitis category, the project must address pediatric atopic dermatitis.
  • For the Pediatric Atopic Dermatitis category, proposals serving underserved communities in Canada are specifically encouraged.
