  • Foreign institutions may apply through an eligible Coordinating PI institution.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed for scientific merit by CZI and independent experts.
  • Finalists are invited to video interviews with CZI staff and/or scientific advisors.
  • Final decisions are made by CZI staff in consultation with scientific advisors.
  • Unfunded applicants do not receive feedback on the decision.
  • Awarded projects must submit annual reports and progress updates.
