Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a group of at least three residents from the Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (CDN-NDG) borough or a non-profit organization recognized by the CDN-NDG Borough.
  • The project must involve the development of a green alley or a public space (such as a median, cul-de-sac, park area, or other public green space) within CDN-NDG.

Eligible expenses

  • Removal of asphalt or cement (demineralization) and groundcover planting
  • Ground plantings such as trees, shrubs, perennials, and nectar gardens
  • Planter boxes for urban agriculture
  • Public space enhancements, including installation of outdoor furniture to create welcoming environments
  • Murals or painted ground art
  • Installation of safety game structures
  • Speed reduction solutions (e.g., speed bumps) for green alleys
