  • Child and family serving agencies in the community that work in partnership with one or more key partners

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Core health programs delivering standard of care service
  • Regular building maintenance or renovations not linked to a larger strategy to improve child health outcomes
  • Stand-alone research projects that are not part of a strategic research program
  • Physician or faculty salaries
  • Conference or event sponsorship

Processing and Agreement

  • Completed applications are reviewed through a three-step process: Funding, Impact and Oversight Committee, Funding Priorities Committee, and Board of Directors.
  • The Funding, Impact and Oversight Committee may request more information, clarification, or details before an application proceeds.
  • The Funding Priorities Committee may request additional information or a presentation and can recommend or decline funding.
  • Successful applicants are notified by email within a few days of approval.
  • A funding agreement is then developed for the approved project.

Additional information

  • The Foundation uses a co-development process led by the Partner Working Group.
  • If invited to submit a full application, required templates will be provided by a Partner Working Group member.
  • There are three to four submission opportunities per fiscal year, and dates are subject to change.
  • Applicants should allow additional lead-time for sponsorship and approvals before submitting an application.
