Activities funded

  • Adoption of agritechnologies that automate one or more phases of agricultural operations, including data collection and analysis, decision-making and execution of work.
  • Projects that improve at least two aspects of agricultural sustainability, such as profitability, agroenvironmental practices, climate change mitigation, work safety and ergonomics, animal health and welfare, or biosecurity.
  • Adoption of one or more priority pieces of equipment identified as eligible for specific agricultural sectors.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must have an active establishment located in Quebec.
  • The applicant must be a farm operation or an agricultural machinery use cooperative (CUMA).
  • The project must relate to the applicant’s agricultural activities.
  • The project must be completed no later than February 15, 2027.
  • For CUMA projects, the activity branch must include at least three farm operations.

  • Agricultural machinery use cooperatives (CUMA)
  • Farm operations in eligible agricultural sectors for priority equipment

Eligible expenses

  • Project expenses related to adopting agritechnologies that automate data collection, analysis, decision-making or work execution.
  • Project expenses for acquiring priority equipment listed as eligible under the program.

  • Quebec (all administrative regions)

Selection criteria

  • Alignment of the project with the initiative’s objectives and eligible technologies or equipment.
  • Compliance with minimum eligible expense thresholds for the chosen stream.
  • Consideration of available budget and program envelope when selecting applications.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications submitted during the open period are processed in chronological order, on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The managing ministry may close the application period without notice to respect the available budget.
  • The number of selected applications may be limited according to the program’s budget envelope.

  • Applications submitted during the opening period are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.
  • Applicants may request a review of an evaluation decision within 30 working days of its communication.
