How to apply
- Submit a Hail Insurance application through myMASC, or in person, by mail, fax, or phone.
Processing and Agreement
- Once a claim is registered, an MASC adjustor will inspect all damaged crops before they are destroyed or harvested.
- If a damaged crop is ready to harvest and MASC has been contacted, the crop may be harvested first if representative strips are left for inspection.
- After a claim is verified and approved, it will be processed and payment will be made via your preferred payment method.
- Hail claims are normally paid within three weeks of the claim being finalized.
- If you do not agree with the appraisal, a second adjustor will be assigned, and you can appeal if an agreement is still not reached.
