Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Step 1: Complete the application
    • Fill out the program application form.
    • Obtain the required signatures from the applicant and the farm representative.
    • If the applicant is under 19, include a parent or legal guardian signature.
  • Step 2: Prepare supporting documents
    • Include confirmation of enrollment.
    • Gather the required Record of Employment for the eligible work period.
  • Step 3: Submit the application
    • Send all documents to the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture Programs Office by email or mail.
    • Submit before the deadline.

Processing and Agreement

  • Complete applications are reviewed by the Department of Agriculture as received.
  • If approved, the applicant receives an award letter with the funding terms.
  • The applicant must report any errors in the award letter.
  • Funding is issued to the accredited post-secondary institution.
