- Indigenous representative organizations, including Indigenous governments and equivalent organizations that represent the interests of First Nation, Inuit or Métis communities
- Red River Métis Citizens engaged in agricultural production

- Crown corporations or other federal institutions
- Public or parapublic groups or organizations, such as schools, colleges, universities, school boards, and public libraries

- Purchase, rental, lease, or sale of land, buildings, facilities, inventory, and associated taxes and fees
- Normal operating costs associated with conducting or expanding a business
- Materials or services purchased outside the eligible invoice dates
- Any cost that is eligible for a rebate, credit, or refund

- Submit a fully completed application package.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications will be processed by MMF program staff in the order they are received until all program funds are fully allocated.
- All project costs and activities must first be approved by the MMF before expenses are eligible for payment.
- All in-kind activities require approval from MMF program staff and must be completed by March 31, 2026.
- Successful applicants must provide a 5% in-kind contribution based on the total value of funding provided.
