Who is eligible?
- Agri-food processors
- Agri-product processors
- Primary producers engaged in value-added processing
- Non-profit organizations engaged in value-added processing
- Indigenous groups, including First Nations, Inuit, Métis, Tribal Councils, associations, and organizations
Who is not eligible
- Current and former Government of Canada employees
- Current Manitoba government employees with 50% or more ownership in the applicant
- Current or former members of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba
- Current or former members of the Executive Council
- Current or former Manitoba senior public servants
Eligible expenses
- Equipment for preparing, producing, or packaging products
- Materials handling and conveyance systems
- Process-related fixed storage and temperature or humidity-controlled storage
- In-house quality control implementation or upgrades
- Software and related hardware for process integration and quality control
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Expenses paid before April 1, 2026 or after the project completion date
- Normal operating expenses, maintenance, and office renovations
- Land, buildings, facility upgrades, and associated fees
- Leased, rented, or subscription-based equipment or software without immediate ownership transfer
- Training not directly tied to the new equipment or software

- Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
