  • AgriEnergy projects, such as biofuels, renewable natural gas and waste-to-energy.
  • Infrastructure or capital projects not directly tied to value-added agri-food processing and manufacturing.

Selection criteria

  • Submissions are assessed for project eligibility, readiness, quality and industry impact.
  • FCC will prioritize projects that have secured, or demonstrate a credible path to securing, private sector debt and equity financing.

How to apply

  • Confirm your project is aligned with FCC Agri-food Project Finance criteria.
  • Prepare a summary financial model and forecast.
  • Prepare a project presentation or overview.
  • Complete and submit the Expression of Interest form using the online link.
  • Upload the two supporting documents at the end of the form.

Processing and Agreement

  • FCC will review all projects and respond to proponents within 30-45 days after the submission window closes.
  • Following review, FCC may request more information.
  • Following review, FCC may decline the opportunity.
  • Following review, FCC may redirect it to other applicable FCC lines of business.
  • FCC may engage proponents who submitted an EOI prior to the deadline to clarify or provide immediate feedback.
