Overview

Age Better provides up to $20,000 to community-based seniors’ services organizations. Funding supports equipment, services, and social programs that help older adults stay healthy, engaged, and active, including initiatives focused on social connection or on combating ageism and preventing elder abuse and neglect.

Activities funded

Examples of admissible projects:

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a community-based seniors’ services organization.
  • The proposed initiative must support older people in the community.
  • The project must align with one of the program’s streams (Ageing Connected or Ageing Boldly).
