- The applicant must be recognized as a “qualified donee” under the Canadian Income Tax Act.
- The funded project must benefit children in British Columbia.

- Organizations that are not recognized as “qualified donees” under the Canadian Income Tax Act
- Projects that do not benefit children in British Columbia
