How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare the proposal
    • Complete the application form.
    • Provide the project purpose and funding request.
    • Include the CRA charitable registration number.
  • Step 2: Obtain approvals if required
    • Master Masons submit proposals directly to the Foundation Secretary.
    • Lodges and Districts must approve and sign the application form.
    • Charities may apply through a Lodge or Mason if supported.
  • Step 3: Submit the application
    • Send the application to the Grand Secretary’s Office by email.
    • Applications must be submitted no later than December 31.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after submission and considered at the Foundation's board meeting.
  • Funding decisions are made in February.
  • Approved applications proceed through the Foundation’s internal approval process.
