The Prix d’excellence de l’ADESAQ en partenariat avec les Fonds de recherche du Québec recognizes doctoral theses with original and determining contributions in the areas covered by the Fonds de recherche du Québec. Three prizes of $2,500 are offered for humanities and social sciences, arts and letters, natural sciences and engineering, and health sciences.

- Application form and complete, up-to-date curriculum vitae
- Thesis summary of up to 350 words
- Copy of the external examiner's report, and the defense report if applicable
- Copy of the revised thesis evaluation report SDU-104a after the defense
- Presentation of the external examiner and support letter from the program or department

How to apply
- Merge all application documents into a single PDF and send it to the email address of your faculty or school.
- The faculty or school sends recommended applications in PDF to aidefinanciere.bourses@uqam.ca with the subject ADESAQ – name of your faculty or school.
- If needed, UQAM selects one candidate for each FRQ research field.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed first at the faculty or school level.
- If needed, an institutional committee selects one candidate for each FRQ research field.
- Results are announced in mid-June.

- Each faculty or school may submit only one candidate for each FRQ research field, for a maximum of three candidates.
- Applications are filed with each faculty or school, not directly on RIBÉ.
