  • Sector associations, societies, and academic bodies in partnership with disability organizations
  • Indigenous organizations, including band councils, tribal councils, and self-government entities

Eligible expenses

  • Staff salaries and employment-related costs
  • Professional fees, materials, supplies, equipment, printing, communication, and travel
  • Premises rental, utilities, insurance, and equipment maintenance
  • Project audits, evaluations, monitoring, reporting, data collection, and knowledge development

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • General operating and regular service delivery costs
  • Proposal preparation costs and pre-agreement project costs
  • Construction, renovation, and capital asset costs
  • Fundraising, lobbying, staff bonuses, and alcohol purchases

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after submission and decisions are expected within 16 weeks after the submission deadline
  • Successful applicants must sign a funding agreement before project activities can begin
  • Applicants may be asked to provide partner support letters and proof of contributions at the agreement stage
  • Applicants will receive confirmation after submission by email or mail
