Financing terms and conditions
- The Department will only fund activities related to legal information and socio-legal support services when recipients have confirmed funding (financial and/or in-kind) from other sources; this amount is considered in determining the contribution amount.
- For activities impacting provincial/territorial administration of justice, recipients must have confirmed financial or in-kind funding from provincial or territorial government sources; this will be considered when deciding the contribution amount.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a Canadian non-profit organization, a government (provincial, territorial, regional, or municipal) or an associated Crown corporation, or a Canadian institution/board of education, including Centres for jurilinguistics.
- The project must support official language minority communities or strengthen the bilingual capacity of the justice system.
- The applicant must secure confirmed funding (financial and/or in-kind) from other sources for legal information and socio-legal support services projects, or from provincial/territorial governments for projects impacting the administration of justice.

- Canadian non-profit organizations
- Provincial, territorial, regional, and municipal governments (including associated Crown corporations)
- Canadian institutions or boards of education (including Centres for jurilinguistics)

- For-profit companies or corporations.
- Federal Crown corporations.
- Individual applicants (not companies, but included for clarity).
