- Short-term space rental for project activities.
- Food for program delivery, up to 25% of the proposed budget.
- Administrative costs and fees, up to 15% of total project costs.

- Application preparation and fundraising costs.
- Endowments, charitable donations, bursaries, gifts, and donor recognition.
- Expenses incurred before the application was received.
- Capital upgrades, renovations, construction, debt reduction, loans, and interest.
