2026 Community Grant Program

Municipal funding for community initiatives
Latest source update
Last Update: July 8, 2026
Latest change: The grant content now shifts toward business incentive resources, while several applicant support contact blocks were removed or reduced on related community grant pages.
View change
Community grant pages now emphasize business incentives and updated contacts
The New Tecumseth grants page now highlights a broader business incentives hub instead of mainly presenting the 2026 Community Grant Program, with links to business support, loans, and multiple municipal, provincial, and federal incentive resources. The Community Grant Program guidance remains tied to the January 2, 2026 opening and the last day of February at 4:30pm deadline, but the surrounding application/help content was reorganized and some related support contact blocks were removed from connected community grant pages. On related pages, Cobourg removed its general phone and toll-free contact block, and Grey Highlands removed the visible Contact Us block with phone, toll-free, fax, email, mailing address, and hours. The visible funding amounts referenced in the community grant materials remain $1,000.00, $2,000.00, and $25,000.00 where they were already shown, but the most significant change is the shift in scope and the loss of applicant support endpoints.
