- Applicants with outstanding CFDR projects or reports when funds are released

- Travel and subsistence for research or dissemination
- Supplies, printing, photocopying, and other project-related materials
- Minor equipment and computer or software purchases when not already provided by the institution

- Annual fundraising campaigns
- Basic science and animal research
- Capital campaigns and building funds
- Major equipment, office furniture, and equipment service contracts
- Salaries for investigators, interns, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, secretarial assistance, and full-time institutional employees

Processing and Agreement
- Registration is reviewed first, and eligible applicants are invited to submit a full proposal.
- Full proposals are reviewed by the Scientific Review Committee for scientific merit and relevance to dietetic practice.

- CFDR makes the final decision and notifies successful applicants in June 2026.
