Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Army Cadets.
  • Cadets who qualify on the Canadian Forces Basic Parachute Course.

Eligible geographic areas

Selection criteria

  • Academic standing.
  • Performance and success on the Parachute Course.
  • Willingness to learn.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Indicate interest at the beginning of the Parachute Course.
    • Notify the Commanding Officer of the Parachute Course.
  • Step 2: Complete the Statement of Intent
    • Sign the Statement of Intent confirming the intention to continue education.
  • Step 3: Selection after course completion
    • A committee formed by course staff reviews candidates immediately after the course.
  • Step 4: Submit the Statement of Intent for payment
    • The selected cadet forwards the completed Statement of Intent to the National Office of The Army Cadet League of Canada in Ottawa.

Processing and Agreement

  • Interest is indicated at the beginning of the Parachute Course.
  • Selection is made immediately after course completion by a committee of course staff.
  • The selected cadet must submit the Statement of Intent to have the cheque issued.
