- Teams including researchers, research professionals, or research assistants affiliated with a Quebec institution.
- Students are not eligible.
Eligible expenses
- Salaries and benefits for research staff directly involved in the project.
- Scholarships, scholarship top-ups, and salary support for students and postdoctoral fellows.
- Purchase of or access to databases.
- Use of equipment or premises needed for the research project, up to 15% of the scholarship value.
- Research indirect costs, when required by the partner research center.

- Applications are first reviewed in a preselection phase based on the submitted file.
- Preselected projects are invited to present a pitch to an independent jury.
- The jury selects the final scholarship recipients after the pitch phase.

- After the project, a short accountability form must be submitted.
