The George W. Wilson & Teresa Madelyn (Merriam) Wilson Foundation is a private family foundation based in Nova Scotia that has been supporting charitable organizations in Atlantic Canada since 2004. The foundation focuses on building sustainable capacity in communities across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

The foundation provides grants in several key sectors: Arts & Culture, Health, Education, Environment, and Religion. Funding is directed toward capital campaigns that create permanent community assets, rather than operational deficits or loan requests.

To qualify for funding, organizations must be registered charities (Qualified Donees under Canada Revenue Agency guidelines) operating in Atlantic Canada. The foundation considers donations between $5,000 and $50,000 for community improvement projects. Applicants must submit a detailed project description, budget, specific request to the foundation, operating budget, and financial statements for the last three years.

Past recipients include Ship's Company Theatre, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, Colchester Community Workshops, Nova Scotia Sea School, Canadian Red Cross, Discovery Centre, Hospice Halifax, Perform!
