The Consecon Foundation participates in the Climate Champions initiative, a landmark effort to dramatically increase climate-focused charitable giving in Canada. As a Climate Champion, the foundation has committed $3 million over six years (2025-2031) to support urgent climate solutions. This commitment is part of a broader movement that has attracted over $481 million in pledges from families and foundations across Canada.

The foundation's support contributes to a wide range of charitable activities aimed at Canada's transition to a net-zero emissions economy. The funding supports work in clean energy and electrification, industry and economy transformation, cities and urban sustainability, people and democracy initiatives, and policy and finance solutions. Specific initiatives include renewable energy research, regenerative agriculture programs, electrification efforts, clean transportation, green buildings, and policy advocacy.

As part of the Climate Champions initiative, the Consecon Foundation's commitment is publicly celebrated alongside other major philanthropists. Climate Champions retain autonomy in allocating their own funds to specific solutions and organizations they wish to support. The initiative is facilitated by Clean Economy Fund, which provides resources and funding solutions for executing major commitments.
