Grant and Funding Programs Offered by Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation

The Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation is an independent charitable foundation created to provide long-term financial support for Symphony Nova Scotia, the province’s professional orchestra based in Halifax/Kjipuktuk. Structured as an endowment fund and overseen by a voluntary Board of Trustees, the Foundation invests donated capital and uses the resulting income to sustain the orchestra’s artistic work and community presence.

The Foundation exists to provide a reliable source of funding for Symphony Nova Scotia. Its investment income helps support exceptional artistic projects, provides a buffer against year-to-year fluctuations in operating revenue, and reinforces the overall financial stability of the orchestra.
