The Fondation Vivre ma Santé Mentale is dedicated to developing and financing alternative approaches to mental health. Its mission is centered on addressing the essential needs of people suffering from mental health issues. The Foundation takes a distinctive approach, focusing on renewing quality of life and recognizing each individual’s reality—rather than relying on preconceived notions. A primary goal is to empower individuals to regain control over their mental health journey.

Who Can Benefit?
If you suffer from a mental health condition and want to participate in the Foundation’s activities, it’s advised to discuss it with your doctor or a mental health professional. Criteria include:
- Having a diagnosis in mental health (anxiety, mood, or psychotic disorders)
- Being referred by a doctor or mental health professional
- Being 18 years old or older

The Foundation relies on fundraising campaigns, such as the annual Smile Cookie campaign with Tim Hortons, to support its activities. Community members and local businesses are encouraged to participate by pre-ordering cookies or volunteering.
