Fondation Le Crépuscule is a non-profit, autonomous health foundation created in September 1992 and based in Sainte‑Marie, Québec. Its core mission is to provide financial support for projects related to maintaining and improving the health of the population of the MRC Nouvelle‑Beauce, which includes eleven municipalities. The foundation positions itself as a local financial catalyst for equipment purchases, facility improvements and community health initiatives.

The funding is aimed at organizations and projects that directly benefit the health and quality of life of Nouvelle‑Beauce residents. Examples include the purchase of specialized medical equipment, improvements to palliative and long‑term care rooms, therapeutic activities such as music and pet therapy, expansion of community and family centres, and support for health‑promotion events.

The foundation’s portfolio shows a strong focus on public and community health infrastructures in Nouvelle‑Beauce: community medical clinics, CHSLDs and long‑term care centres, cooperative health clinics, family resource centres, schools and community organizations working on prevention and support. Over the years, Le Crépuscule has contributed several hundred thousand dollars to the Centre médical de La Nouvelle‑Beauce, funded major projects such as the Villa du Cap, and provided recurring support for camps, respite services and prevention programs.

On its “Grâce à vos dons” page, the foundation details annual allocations, listing beneficiary organizations and amounts granted, which reinforces its transparency and local impact. An annual report is also made available to provide an overview of activities and funding distributed.
