The Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) is dedicated to building strong heart teams in a heart-healthy Canada. As the national voice for cardiovascular clinicians and scientists, the CCS represents over 2,500 cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other heart health specialists across the nation. The society’s commitment is to advance heart health for all Canadians by setting standards for excellence in care, developing the expertise of its members, and advocating for progressive heart health policies.

Support for Trainees
The Canadian Cardiovascular Society Academy supports the next generation of heart health specialists by providing education, research opportunities, scholarships, and bursaries for medical students and trainees. Trainee Review Programs (TRPs) help candidates prepare for their exams by offering realistic examination experiences and feedback from faculty.
