Grant and Funding Programs Offered by 24h Tremblant Foundation

24h Tremblant Foundation is the philanthropic engine behind the annual 24h Tremblant sports challenge held at Mont-Tremblant. Through this large-scale community event, the foundation mobilizes teams, donors and corporate partners to raise money and then redistribute it to organisations dedicated to children’s health and well-being. Its role is not only to run a fundraising event, but also to act as a grantmaking body that channels donations toward high-impact pediatric initiatives.

The foundation explicitly states that it supports children’s causes by providing funding to medical and social organisations so that all children can flourish and lead healthy lives. It offers financial support to other foundations that serve children with physical or mental illnesses and impairments, special needs, or who live in disadvantaged areas. Rather than operating frontline services itself, the foundation strengthens a network of specialized institutions and community organisations through its financial contributions.

Funds raised through the 24h Tremblant campaign are granted to a select group of beneficiary foundations. These include major pediatric cancer and hemato-oncology organisations such as Fondation Charles-Bruneau and the CHEO Foundation, large children’s hospital foundations like CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation and The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, and Fondation Tremblant, which supports local community needs in the MRC des Laurentides. Collectively, these partners cover hospital care, research, rehabilitation, psychosocial support and community programs for vulnerable children.

The foundation’s funding focuses on children facing serious health challenges or social vulnerability. Priority groups include young people living with cancer, complex illnesses, disabilities, special needs or growing up in underprivileged environments. By granting funds to expert institutions in Quebec and Eastern Ontario, 24h Tremblant Foundation helps improve treatment, research, support services and quality of life for affected children and their families, underlining that every dollar raised at the 24h counts.
