- Applicants previously approved for Sport Canada Core funding for the 2026-2027 fiscal year
- Organizations involved in excluded sports such as motorized racing, games of skill, or e-sports
Eligible expenses
- Administration and operations costs, including meetings, communications, and office equipment
- Salaries, fees, benefits, and professional development for staff, coaches, and technical leadership
- Governance costs, including strategic planning, training, and policy development
- Program delivery costs, including training, travel, facility rental, equipment, and testing

- Awards to athletes and prize money
- Capital expenditures such as buildings or land
- Fundraising costs
- Medals, trophies, and banquets
- Personal items, including individual uniforms
