- Seniors with a paid-in-full lease of 10 years or more

- Applicants whose adjusted family net income is $60,000 or more

How to apply
- Step 1: Complete the tax return
- File a 2025 income tax and benefit return.
- Complete the ON-BEN application area for the grant.
- Step 2: Enter property tax information
- Report the eligible property tax paid on line 61120.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Attach the completed ON-BEN form to your return.
- File the return with the form included.

- The grant is calculated after the return is filed.
- If eligible, payment is issued automatically.
- If not eligible, a notice explains the reason in most cases.
- Applicants may file an objection if the grant is denied.
