Eligibility
- The applicant must be either an Indigenous business or organization (First Nations/Metis/Inuit), a municipality or a municipal organization, or a non-profit organization located in Northern Ontario.
- The organization and the young intern must be located in Northern Ontario.
- A work plan as well as mentoring or supervision arrangements must be in place.
- The organization must demonstrate networking opportunities for the intern and present a plan for maintaining employment after the internship.
- The recruitment, interview, and hiring processes used must be fair and transparent.

- Labor costs directly related to the project
- Costs for equipment and materials necessary for project implementation
- Professional services fees for specialized expertise
