Get up to $35,000 to cover up to 90% of the eligible costs of hiring a recent graduate for up to 18 months.
Financing terms and conditions
- Contribution of up to 90% of eligible salary and employee benefit expenses, to a maximum of $35,000 annually for up to 18 months (maximum total of $52,500 per internship).
- Contribution of up to 90% of eligible ancillary costs, to a maximum of $5,000 (such as equipment and training).
- Total maximum contribution per internship is $57,500 including salary, benefits, and ancillary costs.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a not-for-profit organization, Indigenous (First Nation/Métis/Inuit) community or organization, or a municipality or municipal organization.
- Both the organization and the youth intern must be located in Northern Ontario.
- The project must include a work plan and mentoring or supervisory arrangements for the intern.
- The applicant must have a demonstrated post-internship retention plan and provide networking opportunities for the intern.
- The recruitment, interview, and hiring process for the internship must be fair and transparent.
