Provides funding over $10,000 to support community-service proposals. Eligible activities include new or expanded services addressing community needs aligned with Rotary objectives.
Activities funded
- Children’s programs and related community services.

Examples of admissible projects:

Documents Needed
Eligibility
- The request must come from an agency supporting community needs such as children’s programs, youth at risk, poverty reduction, adult literacy, seniors’ assistance, or similar needs.
- The proposal must describe a strong partnership with the applicant.
- The proposal must describe a new service or an expansion of an existing service.
- The project must address a community need in a manner consistent with Rotary objectives.

How to apply
Step 1: Select donation stream
- Determine whether the request fits Major Donations (over $10,000) or Small Donations (up to $10,000).
- For Major Donations, download the application form from the funder website.
- Prepare the information required in the application, including details about the organization and proposed project.
- For Major Donations, submit the completed application form as instructed on the funder website.
- For Small Donations, email information on your organization and the project to the Small Donations Committee.
Processing and Agreement
Additional information
- Requests for financial assistance are gathered and reviewed by a committee.
- The program supports initiatives that respond to community needs and are consistent with Rotary objectives.
- Funding streams are separated into Major Donations and Small Donations.
